Epinions Humorous Script, Unique Battle System Make "Partners in Time" a Must-Buy for the DS

by  meanbeast,  Dec 1, 2005
Pros: Humorous writing, great use of the second screen.
Cons: Rather bizarre plot, no world map.
The Bottom Line: Interactive battles, a witty script, and solid all-around gameplay makes "Partners in Time" an RPG not to miss.
Review: Despite being around for a bit over a year now, Nintendo's portable DS system has a dismal choice of RPGs. Okay, just one: "Lunar: Dragon Song", which was hardly memorable. But with the release of Nintendo's "Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time", DS owners ...

Epinions A cute game that Paper Mario fans will enjoy

by  jdban,  Nov 29, 2005
Pros: Fun four player RPG with unique timing elements.
Cons: Its a bit too easy.
The Bottom Line: It is a great game with an enjoyable story with time travel. The whole mixture of elements in this game make for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Review: The game is the sequel to Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga Gameplay: If you have played the previous game, you will feel right at home. This game has many new additions to go with the DS though. Because the DS has four buttons to control with, ...

Epinions Baby Mario, Mushrooms from Another Galaxy, and L33T HAMM3R BROZ!

by  B_Campbell, top reviewer in Games ,  Jul 28, 2006
Pros: Sense of humor, action and RPG blend, great pacing, not too challenging for casual gamers
Cons: A little too easy for advanced gamers
The Bottom Line: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time melds action and RPG into a pleasing whole, like Klondike bars combine smooth ice cream and a chocolate shell into a blissful treat.
Review: If you don't think the Nintendo DS has any good RPG's, you haven't played Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. No, it's not your typical RPG; it's not even your typical atypical RPG. It's a sort of action-RPG hybrid that recalls the original Mario RPG on ...

Epinions RPG trips the Light Fantastic.

by  barongreenback,  Nov 10, 2006
Pros: Accessible, large levels, intuitive controls.
Cons: Ease of play makes it easy to complete.
The Bottom Line: An excellent, if simplistic RPG for the masses.
Review: Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is Nintendo’s attempt to bring the Role Playing Game to the Nintendo DS masses. This is “RPG-lite” meaning that by utilising Nintendo’s mascots, they are able to create an accessible game were ease of use ...

Epinions Super Star Saga this is not.

by  tommy_lop,  Mar 4, 2006
Pros: cute story and it has some of the entertaining game play
Cons: Dosen't make use of a lot of the DS features, long boss fights.
The Bottom Line: Makes you want to go back to the simple days where beating a boss required just 3 stomps.
Review: Well I played through M ario and Luigi Super Star Saga a couple of months ago and enjoyed it. It was frustrating has heck but it was one of the funnest and funniest Mario RPG’s. I would like to say Partners in Time ...
