This latest version of the Les Paul Standard now gets the benefit of a gorgeous ''AA'' grade Maple top, vintage style tuners, and Burstbucker pickups. These new pickups produce slightly more output than any previous Standard pickups with more bite and a seductive ''airy'' tone with both pickups on. Now for your playing comfort you can also choose between the traditional ''50s neck or the slim taper ''60s neck shape. Impressive look, great sound, you can make a standard better! Re-consider and re-consider again before owning it

Pros: Stylish, well constructed, great overdrive sound

Cons: Expensive. Heavy Pickups deliver muddy sound in clean mode, missing clarity.
