Epinions Good GPS unit for the casual user

Pros: Rugged. Easy to read in sunlight. Runs a long time on 2 batteries
Cons: Keeps losing reception.
The Bottom Line: The Etrex Legend needs a perfectly clear sky with no cloud cover or trees in order to lock on to the satellites.

Pros: Small, allows you to find your location easily
Cons: Loses signal indoors and in dense urban areas / trees
The Bottom Line: good for if you enjoy the outdoors, but for vehicle navigation its a little tough.
