P-5000 is adequate, but backup is a pain

Pros: Solid build, nice display, good ergonomics and form factor.

Cons: Expensive, non-powered USB connection for backups.

The Bottom Line: Nice machine, does a good job for what it was designed for, but a few frustrations figuring out how to perform an essential task

Review: I’m heading to Europe soon and I didn’t want to lug my laptop. So I bought a P-5000 to backup photos from my Nikon D200. The Epson works great, the display is very nice, the ergonomics are adequate, and, in general, it is about what I expected. ...
