It's cheap, it works, sorta

Pros: It works, in a limited way.

Cons: False low-battery warning is the pits. Limited font sizes are also a drag.

Review: Our company bought this model since previous Brother P-Touch models were discontinued. The whole unit just feels cheap from the start. It's a drag to have to shift modes to be able to type numbers. This can be very annoying when there are a string of ...

Brother P-Touch PT-80 You Certainly Wont Lose It

Pros: Reliable, Date/Time feature very handy

Cons: limited feature set, Clear function clears formatting with text

The Bottom Line: Not bad for low volume use.

Review: One of the old label-makers we use at work finally died, after over eight years of reliable service. We had to find a replacement in a relative hurry and the only reasonably priced option our current vendor had in stock was the PT-80. It did have one ...
