Another Impression Of HG 10

Pros: Great video quality, ease of use, very compact and very competitive price

Cons: poor software support by Canon/Corel (Sony no better), sound quality has too much background hum

Great camera, mediocre software

Pros: Video and audio quality; size and weight

Cons: Software; battery life

The Bottom Line: A very good camera, somewhat blemished by a weak software bundle. A very good choice if you use a third-party video editing package.
